2. What data is collected and why

Contact form & direct messages. When you send a message through the contact form, email, or WhatsApp, you provide your name, email address, and the contents of your message. This is used only to reply to you and, if lessons start, to manage the teaching relationship. No mailing list is involved.

Spanish level quiz. The free level test processes your answers locally in your browser and shows your CEFR result immediately on screen. To see your result you are asked for your email address. That address is passed to Web3Forms and forwarded to Elizabeth so she can follow up if appropriate. No email is sent to you. The address is not stored by this site or used for marketing.

Server logs. Like any website, the hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) automatically logs each request — IP address, browser type, page visited, and timestamp. These logs are used for security and uptime monitoring. They are retained according to Cloudflare's privacy policy and are not accessed by this site for marketing purposes.

No cookies or tracking pixels. This website does not use cookies, Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other behavioural tracking technology.

3. Legal basis for processing

Data is processed on the basis of legitimate interest (responding to your enquiry) and, where you voluntarily submit your email for the quiz result, your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing the address above.

4. How long data is kept

  • Contact messages: kept for as long as the teaching relationship is active, then deleted within 12 months of the last contact.
  • Quiz and contact form submissions: name, email, and message are forwarded to Elizabeth via Web3Forms and retained only as long as needed to respond. They are not stored by this site.
  • Server logs: managed by Cloudflare per their own retention schedule.
